600-Acre Master-Planned Multi-Use Development

Indigo Circle is a master-planned multi-use development in Florence, S.C., that includes areas designated for retail/hospitality, corporate, education, and research facilities.

 

Area 1: In Development

The heart of Indigo Circle, Area 1 will include quick-service dining, casual dining, hotel and retail outparcels. Buc-ee’s Travel Center anchors the 80-acre retail and hospitality tract with gas, convenience and grab and go food offerings.

Area 2: Partially Completed

The first phase of Francis Marion University’s 145-acre campus for Freshwater Ecology Research and Conference Center was completed at the end of 2021. Phase 1 includes labs, classrooms and a conference center.

Area 3: In Design

A 250-acre area is designated for the development of corporate and research users

Area 4: Future Development

A 125-acre area is reserved for future development.
